New Rules of the Wrocław University Library and charging late fees for returning books
Dear Readers!
From 22 May 2026 in all libraries of the University of Wrocław new Rules of Collection Circulation in the Wrocław University Library introduced by the Rector’s Order No. 66/2026 are valid.
The Rules define the rules for using library collections, including the conditions of lending, on-site access and the obligations of users. Please read its content and comply with its provisions.
The Rules are available at individual WUL departments and on the website of the Wrocław University Library https://www.bu.uni.wroc.pl/en/rules-and-regulations.
Please also note that from 27 April, we will resume charging late return fees for library materials. The fee is PLN 0.40 per day of delay for each item borrowed. Fees should be paid at the University Library in cash, by card, by bank transfer to the library’s bank account, or via BLIK (fees are not charged for days on which the Library is closed to users).
